CEO & Founder of Loving Journey Homes
Danielle Pickett is the heart behind Loving Journey Homes, a nonprofit organization built on compassion, faith, and a deep commitment to helping young women find hope and stability. As the CEO and Founder, Danielle has dedicated her life to creating safe spaces for teen girls and young mothers in foster care, giving them the love, guidance, and support they deserve but may have never received.
Danielle’s passion for helping others began early in her life. She witnessed the struggles that many young people face when they grow up without consistent care, encouragement, or a sense of belonging. Those experiences shaped her purpose—to build something that could truly make a difference. What started as a vision has now become a home filled with warmth, opportunity, and healing.
Through her leadership, Loving Journey Homes provides more than just housing. It offers a family environment where young women are heard, valued, and empowered to grow. Danielle ensures that every resident receives the tools and guidance they need—whether it’s emotional support, parenting help, educational direction, or life skills training. Her mission is to help each girl and young mother see her own worth and understand that her past does not define her future.

Through trauma-informed care, mentorship, education, and life skills programs, we walk alongside our residents on their journey toward independence and self-love. Our goal is simple but powerful—to provide a foundation of love and guidance that helps each young woman grow into her full potential.

​At Loving Journey Homes, we believe everyone deserves a place where they can be themselves — free from judgement and surrounded by compassion. Our homes are built on a foundation of love, stability, and understanding, creating safe spaces where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive.

Our mission is to provide stable, loving, and secure homes for teenagers in foster care, including those transitioning out of the system. We understand that this stage of life can be challenging, and we are dedicated to guiding young people toward independence, confidence, and a bright future.
We also offer direct support for adults with disabilities and companionship services for seniors, promoting inclusion, dignity, and meaningful human connection.
